Hi friends,

Good evening..

I am unable update software in to my nokia 5130 model phone.  My mobile getting corrupted for every 3 months even not using SD Card. Now my mobile powered on but no display (white page ).

I use to update software updating from NOKIA CARE when ever I found this issue with high expensive.

Is it possible to update version from home with any application or software.

If so, kindly help me to get it done from here.

Hey Uma,

Welcome to the Forum,,

These are two separate issues.. 1. Updating the Software and 2. Flashing the software.

You can do the first whenever an Update is available.. using the Nokia Software updater or the OVI Suite..or directly thru' the phone..

For the second as it seems your case.. there is no other way but to get it done at Nokia Care.

BTW have you asked Nokia Care about the reason for this happenning so frequently.. or some tips to prevent it from happening..?

Last they said that there is a problem in model it self and sell it for seconds and get the new one...

But it is my first mobile and i do want to continue with the same
