hi everybody. i have a lot of softwares of type.sis but my nokia 6120 classic donot recognise this extension. if there is some way to install these applications on my phone. i want to know how to install softwares with .sis extension on my mobile phone. i am heartidly looking for ur reply.

Are the files designed for this model or an older model like the N70?

If the sis file is designed to run on an S60v2 phone then they will not work. If they ar designed for S60v3 then they should work.

You need to check that you have the correct versions.

there is no way to install these v2 files on ur mobile. some converter or a type of software.

No, older versions will not work on newer phones and you cannot convert them.

You need to find newer versions of the apps that you need.

i just experience something like u did.
where did u buy ur fon?
if it is from china, it is possible that it is a clone.
get what i mean? and there is no way u can install any applications like in real NOKIA.(.sis,.jar,.nth.) coz this fon is not a symbian phone.

yes, there are fake 6120 in the market, and with this fake you will not be able to install apps... if you want to see some apps you can try MOSH-> http://mosh.nokia.com/
