nokia c2-01 software update problem

I've a nokia C2-01 phone and i'm trying to update it for quite a while. But the problem is after taking the backup it is not updating that is aftersome time the mobile goes off and the nokia suite says Connection lost and says to disconnect the phone and restart it and then reconnect. I did the same but same problem exists. Please help.
