Balance update after texting.

Hi - is there any way of permanently turning off the sound for a balance update after texting from C3-01, without affecting the sound/alarm for any normal incoming texts?

Thanks

Re: Balance update after texting.

May be the OP wants to keep the service activated..but doesn't want Sound alerts...and that doesn't seem possible.

You may try switching the Warning Tones OFF and see if that works..

I think the switching off warning tones doesn't work as the update comes to mobile as a message if you contact your operator it may help:smileyhappy:

You need to contact your operator because it is a network service- not related in any way to your phone settings.

Don't think the Operator can Turn off the Sound Alert .. As mentioned above, It seems the OP wants the Audio alerts to be switched OFF..not the Service...

..so, if its not possible, OP has to live with it ...

To turn off those tones you can only turn off message tone which also turns off the incoming message tone. As per my knowledge there is no way you can turn it off without affecting the incoming message tone except to change to operator who doesn't give those updates :smileyhappy:

Re: Balance update after texting.

Thanks for the replies so far - I'll take it up in the O2 community or give them a call. Strange it doesn't do it on other 'phones.

Anyone else bothered by this feature?

thanks
