C1-01 Turn of Wifi? and languages

is there a fast way to disconnect my phone from my network?

it must take unecessary power if always connected , no?

and then. how come though they are called "smart phones" we are still not allowed to configure and add extra T9 languages? or where would i do that in such case it's possible? (and i just missed it..)

There are many ways disconnect your Nokia C1-01 phone from your network, including:

1. Menu>Settings>Connectivity>WLAN>Available WLANs>(then click on your currently connected network to disconnect)
2.(click on WLAN on your Personalize view on the home screen)>Disconnect.

I recommend number 2 method listed above to be the fastest way to disconnect your phone from your network.

The method to place WLAN on your Home screen:

Menu>Settings>Display>Home screen>Home scr. mode>On.

Menu>Settings>Display>Home screen>Personalize view>(click on any four rows)>WLAN>Done>Yes

You'll then see your current network connection (or lack thereof) on your Home screen.

I think you're right about the network takes up unnecessary power if it's connected, and that might be the case for Bluetooth too, but somebody else please confirm these answers.

I don't know why the Nokia C3-01 is called a "smart phone." I Google "Nokia C3-01 smartphone" and I find websites saying it's a smartphone. I don't have an answer on how to configure and add extra T9 languages, but, again, someone else please answer these questions. I would like to know how to do this.
My Nokia C3-01 Software details:

V 05.60
(c) Nokia

thanks. good think you managed to see past my mistake of naming the thread C1 instead of C3 :smileyhappy: yhea well i'm not sure about the smart thing wither. hence the quotation "marks"... but it does seem's like it referred to as such..
