Error message when trying to install Skype on E72-1

Trying to Re-install Skype on my Nokia E72-1. After doing a Hardware reset

It disappeared from my Apps.

Now get the following message on Nokia Suite when I try to install it via PC using Nokia Suite.

"Could not install this file"

"There was a problem with installing Skype on your device.
Please make sure that the date and time settings are correct
on your device and that there's enough free memory.

Actually I managed to trick the phone into installing it. The installation file must have k=just had its certificate lapse. I put my phone'e date back a year and it installed fine. Put the time back and opened Skype no problems.

Just got the exact same problem and quickly fixed the same way, but just 2 months back

Nokia should issue a new certificate for this popular app.

Accenture's remit for continuing support for Symbian is probably quite restricted, as such issues starting to affect S60 3rd Ed. FP1 and FP2 devices increasingly now!

Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

Luckily the issue can be easily fixed by changing phone time.

Annoyingly, more problems may be caused by incorrect time. e.g. email sync stops working, not new email account can be created or removed. So do not forget to change the time back.
