So this new N97 seems to have a screen made out of jello or something. It's scratched after only 3 days use, and that's using my finger not the stylus!!
Any ideas how to get these scratches out? Is replacing the screen viable?

You are using a £500 touch phone without a screen protector?!
It's odd that it has scratched so easily as it did very well in scracth resistance tests. It must have been in contact with something sharp.
Give this product a try to fix your scratch:
I use these personally:
Might be risky using the scratch remover. at the bottom of the page it says
Attention:use only on non-coated surfaces and plastics; when used on mobile phones, treat only the transparent portions of the display lens. Not for use with touch screen displays.

Well spotted, I haven't used the stuff for years so didn't realise about the touch screen warning.
Perhaps try a google to see what other people have been using on touchscreens?
