WLan files on my Handset

I am using Nokia E62 and have installed a application like FExplorer.

I can see some of the files in the ROM drive
under z:\resource\

WlansettingsUi.r01
WlansettingsUi.r39
WlansettingsUi.r59
WlansettingsUi.r70

&

WEPSecurtitySettingsUl.r01
WEPSecurtitySettingsUl.r39
WEPSecurtitySettingsUl.r59
WEPSecurtitySettingsUl.r70

If I am not wrong these files are somewhere related to WiFi.
But i cannot see the reference of them on the handset.

If the files are unwanted, hope they will not cause any problem during my regular use.

Re: WLan files on my Handset

Hi there!
Since those are on the z drive, they are pre installed. Most probably those files are needed for your wifi to work properly. :smileyhappy:

Do you notice anything wrong with your connection to the internet through Wlan?

Re: WLan files on my Handset

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

E62 does have a feature of Wifi. Then why are those files required.

Or is it like we can connect a Wifi as and external attachement/device.
