I just got a x3 to hold me over til the n8 comes out because my n95 8gb died and is unrepairable, and I am unable to connect to the internet or send or receive mms, any help would be greatly appreaciated.  I am on at&t.

I have the settings from them, but cannot figure out how to input them, any help would be appreciated.  Settings they sent me are below.

How did they sent the settings? via Sms?

if so Open sms>options>save>phone will ask if to set them as default>click yes.

Do the same with all.

they sent via online chat with a representative and were not of much help at all

It would be easier for you to call them and ask to send All settings via sms.

After receiving those configuration sms, do what i said above.

That is the easiest way (and usually adopted by all networks) and it's strange they can't send settings by sms.

Anyways Go to settings>connectivity>access points>select new access point. (Sorry if the menu tree is wrong, as i m not too familiar with S40).
and enter settings you mentioned above.

ya pretty much s40 blows, no customization options at all.  What I have is connectivity>packet data>packet data settings>edit active access pt.> packet data acc. pt.  and thats the only option I have and i have put in wap.cingular

Try this:
Press Menu (Navi key)
Highlight Settings and then Select (press Navi key)
Highlight Configuration and then Select (press Navi key)
Highlight Personal config. sett. and then Select (press Navi key)
Press Options (left soft key)
Highlight Add new and then Select (press Navi key)

these setting worked perfectly for me, hopefully this will help anyone else who had this issue

does this work?, if your network has the 6700 classic ask them to send the settings for that this is a workaround
