Hi,

Please help me to turn off the Mp3 Music Player in Nokia X1-01

I can't find an option like "turn off" or "switch off"....

When I switch to Silent mode and click Play side button, the music is still playing....

Number 5 on keypad is also a play and pause button
or press and hold the middle button on left

Hey, the user guide does not contain the answer to the main question!!! on my X1 the only ways to efficiently make temporarly inactive the play bottom side are:
1) switch off and the on again the phone, as in a windows pc
2) remove and insert again the memory card, (as in a windows pc again...)

when you pause the player it is as good as being switched off and will not drain the battery. If you want to be absolutely sure then while the music is playing, press the red/call end key once. it'll take you to the main screen. then press & hold the red key. a notification will pop-up saying music player is turned off. now if you go back to the player you will find that it is the same when you pause it.
