I am unable to delete 2 Entries in the call log on my Nokia X3-00. When I select delete.. first it displays..'Delete entry from list?' but when I select 'Yes', it shows 'Invalid Selection'..

If I call to these numbers..the details change to the latest call details (i.e. the date,  time, duration,etc..) but when I try to delete them again shows the earlier details.

Actally there were almost 15-20 entries in the call log when I performed the delet action.. All but these 2 got deleted..

I have tried Re-booting and Factory Reset..without success..

• why do not u try to got to settings under the log and change the log duration to no log
• try and see the results

If u access to use more than one SIM insert another sim, it format ur call logs... Or restore factory settings after backup ur contats, messages etc. U can update ur software for better services...

Thanx everyone for suggesting solutions..but currently my phone is being used by my friend whose phone has gone for repairs.I will be able to act only when I get it back after approx.10 more days.By then one of the suggestions will show its result as my friend has already put his SIM now..
Will post the update and sorry about the late responce..

you can try to restore all factory settings, please be reminded that once you do this all your files and settings will be gone and that you need to back up first your contacts, messages and photos.
>if the same problem persists, go to your nearest nokia care center/service center

dis problem is due to virus entered mainly via bluetooth.from my experience,software update is da only soln

I seen some app on Ovi i think delete single log it was mentioned here recently,cant be sure if it works.

Oh ! Sorry.. I missed this thread of mine... The problem still persists.. But now the earlier entries have gone and a few New entries show up in the log that can not be deleted...Confirmed that these New ones are NOT from the same contacts as in the earlier case...  None of the suggestions posted above worked till now...

...and the application 'Delete Single Log' is not compatible with Nokia X3-00

Hi farby! I've had the same problem with my Nokia 7020 (still under warranty & not bound to any operator). 1st time i had it i sent to Nokia care where i was told the phone firmware installation is needed. So i left it there. Then i was told & i saw it myself that the phone crashed during the firmware upgrade. From there it was sent to New Delhi head office (as i was told) for further repairs. It was returned to me after 10 days with the problem solved. But it reappeared after a month. Now i don't know what to do. Is there a provison of replacement for the faulty handset in India?
