Most probably it is.. but you need to contact your local Nokia Care for the availability and cost for repairs..

BTW if you have received the latest Firmware update then most probably the 'Slide to Unlock' feature has been added. When the screen is locked press the On/Off button or the Menu Key and it will prompt you to Slide in the direction of the arrow to unlock ...this may eliminate the usage of the Side keylock key...

Another way to overcome this is to install this application..
