Hi,

I see on the shops selves a new phone called Nokia X3-02.5 Refresh RM775 which is more expensive than the X3-02 RM639.

What are the differences between them?

Nokia X3-02.5 has a 1GHz processor and more RAM then the regular X3-02

RM-775: 1 GHz processor, 256 MB of ROM memory, 128 MB of RAM memory, Nokia Browser and Series 40 Web Apps support comes with the device firmware by default.

RM-639: 680 MHz processor, 128 MB of ROM memory, 64 MB of RAM memory, WebKit Open Source Browser as the default web browser (Nokia Browser is available as a downloadable addon from Nokia Store).

If both cellphones are almost the same, shouldn't their firmware be also compatible?

Why is the latest version for X3-02 already at V7.16 and for X3-02.5 only at V6.75?

(And that model does not even have a support page! )

I have a nokia x3-02.5 and my firmware version is 7.32
I am very pleased with this model.

According to the info in the link given above, the update was released for RM-775 variant i.e. X3-02.5. You can update by connecting the phone to Nokia suite & clicking on the green arrow icon. If any upgrade is available for your product code/region/operator then it will be shown.

No, Nokia Suite still doesn't find that firmware update...

How long does it usually take for a firmware to get available for all regions?

Or maybe it's a Nokia Suite bug?

If the Nokia Suite doesn't find the update it means that it has not been released for the all devices with the same specifications as your device.

My current firmware for my X3-02 is V 06.05 and that is the the last time I updated my X3-02...
Not because I didn't look for the update but the updates do not appear in my NSU/Nokia Suite and I've updated my N9 to PR1.3 but my X3-02 still stuck with V 6.05

Can anyone rectify this problem to Nokia?
I'm in Malaysia...

There is a thread in the software updates section which was started by armagon mentioning the updates availability of x3-02 & c3-01. Post the product code of your phone there & wait for reply from armagon.

No. Type *#0010# on the main screen. The details that appear on the screen under content is the product code.
