I want to know how to use the camera without any sound during taking the picture in NOKIA X6-00, 8GB
please tell me as soon as possible

In some units, you can do this by putting the phone in silent profile. For most units however, silencing the phone is not possible due to laws passed by several countries which prohibit "silent camera" devices.

The click sound is coming even in the silent mode....

As I already said, for most units disabling sound is not possible. Some countries have laws that prohibit camera devices to take pictures without sound (korea is one, and the US has the bill pending).

To switch off the camera click sound please set the warning tone off as below.

menu/settings/personal/profiles/general

select, options/personalise andf then set off to Warning tones.

PS: remember when u set off to warning tones some initial tones such as welcome tone will go off

i have an X6 and when i bought it in May 2010 in HK Nokia IFC store, i set everything to silent and i set the cam tone to tone 4 from the very start that i bought it.

I've never had a tone come out whenever i made photos since i did this until this day.

so does this mean my X6 is screwy? or am i lucky?

cam works fine. use it all the time XD

if u really wants u r tones be back again as normal, switch on warning tones
