x3 message and memory storage not reading

Can anyone help me plz my nokia x3 say message and memory storage not reading then when i switch it on it goes on and switch off itself what can i do

1. Does the device functions normally without the memory card? If yes then the memory card is the problem. Scan the card using a good antivirus. (even though the viruses don't affect the phone itself but occasionally they can create problem with the card). If the scan is clean then you need to scan the card for errors.  Depending upon the operating system of your computer the steps vary. Also note that some images may become corrupt during the scanning for errors & they will open on the phone only.

2. If without the card also the device creates problem then you will have to take the device to the nearest authorized nokia care centre.

Further to the post by ng85  , does this happen even when the phone is ON for some time or only when you switch it ON and enter 'Messaging' too quickly ? I have exerienced this on my Nokia X3-00 also but only when I select Messaging too soon after switching the phone ON..
